We are delighted to announce our collaboration with local artist Designed by Alice, launching in store on Thursday 25th May. 

Consciously created studio and swimwear, inspired by the natural world

Whether you are a swimmer, a dancer or you practice yoga or pilates (or do a bit of everything) these illustrated bodysuits not only physically support your practice, but add to the feel-good factor of movement in general. 

Reflecting the designer’s fascination with the underwater world, the hand-painted ‘Somefish’ pattern wraps its wearer in a flattering, jewel-toned watercolour design. Crafted from 78% recycled bottles, the fabric offers shape retention, two-way stretch and muscle control, as well as resistance to chlorine, UV and oils. They are digitally printed in the UK in small batches to minimise waste. 

About the Artist

Alice is an ex ballet dancer turned designer / multidisciplinary artist who designs useful and beautiful things that tell stories and elevate our everyday. She crafts her unique ballet skirts, bodysuits and accessories in her East London studio, creating wearable art for dancers, wild swimmers and anyone dressing to express themselves.

Her collections are inspired by the natural world, using hand-painted illustrations. Every detail is ethically considered, using recycled materials.
