About ROKA
ROKA London was founded by Emma and Brett in response to the British weather. They wanted to design a functional weather-resistant bag that’s comfortable to wear, with handles that let you carry it in a multitude of ways.
ROKA are B Corp certified, which means they meet rigorous social and environmental standards representing commitment to goals outside of shareholder profit.
The brand have been using recycled materials for their bags, backpacks and umbrellas since 2020. Their canvas bags are made from recycled plastic bottles, and have a matte look and textured feel. The nylon bags are made using pre-consumer fabric waste like scraps, rejects, offcuts and trimmings. This creates a durable nylon and is a great way of reducing waste.
Both the nylon and canvas materials are water-resistant and coated with C0 water-repellent. No PFOS or PFOA are used in the process, and they don’t use any animal products.
