Komodo
Komodo has been creating eco-friendly fashion since 1988.
Komodo work with medium sized, family run factories in Kathmandu, Bali and India that have grown with the brand over the years. The majority of factories they use are certified by SA800 or GOTS, meaning they are independently audited on an annual basis to ensure compliance in both sustainability and working conditions.
Komodo have a strict code of conduct that their factories must adhere to, including a number of stringent rules including no child or forced labour, no exploitation of the work force, a non- discrimination employment policy, workers’ rights, additional employee benefits and a living wage.
All the cotton used by the brand is GOTS certified. Komodo also use bamboo, hemp, rayon, tencel, organic linen, wool and recycled PET from plastic bottles.
