About Pink City Prints
Molly Russell created Pink City Prints to preserve the traditional crafts of India’s Pink City, Jaipur.
Each of the brand’s beautiful pieces has been worked on by hand, using techniques passed down for generations. Pink City Prints supports hundreds of artisans to safeguard the age-old arts of hand embroidery, block printing and hand looming.
Pink City Print’s main hub is in Jaipur, and they outsource crafts to specialist artisans in regions across Northern India. Hand looming is done in Kolkata, where it’s a traditional craft.
The brand only ever makes small batches of their handcrafted garments, using locally sourced materials and avoiding surplus. Fabric offcuts are used to make packaging and salvaged accessories, and they are committed to sending nothing to landfill.
Fabrics are chosen for high quality and low impact on the environment.
