About Ucon Acrobatics
“Minimal design, minimal emission”
Founded in Berlin 20 years ago, Ucon Acrobatics is deeply rooted in the creative scene there. They want to make high-quality designed bags for a new generation of creatives who are ready for change.
Ucon Acrobatics believe that social inequality and the mindless destruction of our planet should be a thing of the past, and their timeless designs for urban nomads are the result of environmentally friendly and social decisions as well as passion and creativity.
The brand’s products are PETA Approved vegan. They work with My Climate to understand and share the information about their own carbon footprint. Their design studio in Berlin runs on eco-power, and they are committed to producing climate-neutral products.
Initially their bags were made using cotton, but they were unhappy with the conventional cotton industry’s destructive agricultural practices, so turned to synthetic fibres which are more robust and lighter. PET from recycled water bottles is now the main material, and all their backpack have a laptop compartment made from upcyled neoprene.
